The researchers found that the first group had the slightest desire to eat all day and ate 31% fewer calories for lunch.
So oats for breakfast proved to be most effective in people who are overweight because they consumed 50% fewer calories for lunch.
The other two groups were hungry after only three hours after breakfast. Oats lingers in the digestive tract, while Corn flakes quickly raise blood glucose levels and automatically cause a sudden drop in a short time afterwards.
